Noah’s Arkley Nursery School is managed by a team of professionals with many years of combined experience in all aspects of childcare.
We are a family run nursery headed by Julie Davis (NVQ Level 4 in Childcare) who has been teaching and caring for children for over 35 years. Her management team made up of her daughters Alison Sassen (Early Years Professional Status) and Elise Reuben (NVQ Level 3 in Childcare).
Our staff have up to date first aid certificates, childcare qualifications and are DBS checked and most importantly years of experience working and caring for young children.
As working parents we understand the need for high standards of care, giving you the knowledge that your child is happy, safe, secure and well cared for.
In the nursery, we use a ‘key person’ system. Each member of staff is responsible for a small group of children and we organise activities according to the needs of each individual child. Whilst the children are playing their key person is continually monitoring them, assisting them in their play and observing the developments they are making.
We aim to provide a happy, caring and secure environment. We concentrate on building social, intellectual, physical, emotional and language skills at each child’s individual pace. We help your child become more confident and have a degree of independence, making the transition from nursery to school as smooth as possible
We aim to create a home away from home for your child, building on the experiences that you and your child bring with you from home and the local community.
We are lucky to be located within 50 acres of Maccabi London Brady Sports Grounds. We have a safe and spacious outside play area for the children to enjoy fully. We take them outside to play, to go on nature rambles and participate in sporting activities.
Children collect items on our nature rambles to learn more about the natural environment and enrich their creative activities.
We also have ample on site car parking for easy drop off and pick ups.
We strive to build good relationships with parents and carers and believe good communication is a vital way to do this. We regularly upload facebook pictures of activities the children have been participating that day. We also produce newsletters explaining what has been happening at the nursery and future events. We recognise that children have individual needs and we aim to cater for these. We encourage our parents to get involved wherever possible. We have an open door policy and are happy for you to speak to any of the management team or your child's key person without making an appointment.
